I love what I do! Writing books for children is my passion and a dream job come true. Part of an author or illustrator’s job is promoting their books to make sure they get into the hands and minds of little readers. Most creatives don’t have the means to hire professional publicists, so they do what they can. School visits, bookstore signings, blogging, and community events are all great ways to share the book love, but we also rely on good old fashioned word of mouth.

That’s why we appreciate a shout out when you find a book you love. With your help, our books can reach readers who may not otherwise have known about them. It keeps us doing what we love, creating books for hungry minds and making a difference in the lives of children.
Please feel free to screen shoot or copy the image below and share on social media so others will know of ways to support their favorite authors and illustrators. You really do make a difference. And we, the children’s book community, are grateful.
Great post!!!
Thank you, Linda!
Thanks, Danna for sharing ways to help an author’s book reach a wider audience!
It’s my pleasure! Please copy the image and share it on social media. Spreading book love one share at a time 🙂
I recommend my favorite author’s book to Goodreads friends to support them and they tell others to read it, that makes a chain.
Yes, I love that you create a chain of sharing. Thank you! Good books deserve to be read, celebrated, and loved 🙂
