As a bit of an anxious penguin myself, the name Zenguin waddled into my head while I was playing around with words. I realized I had to write this book for the little version of me—the girl who really could have used a friend like this when she was struggling with anxiety. In such a loud, busy world, I truly hope this story becomes a tool to help kids (and us grown-ups, too!) find a bit of inner peace.
🐧Penguin is anxious amidst the hustle and bustle of his busy colony. He wishes to feel calm inside, but he doesn’t know how! Thankfully, a few of his Antarctica friends teach him their strategies for finding inner peace. Before long, Penguin can use his own zen techniques to handle a stressful situation, earning him his new name—Zenguin!
