A Personal Note

At a young age, I discovered I have OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder), and while I’ve learned to manage it, things changed when anxiety joined the party. I have practiced various coping mechanisms for my anxiety, but what truly helps me daily is engaging in soothing creative processes. Art, journaling, and poetry help distract my racing thoughts and give me a positive mental boost.

My wish is for these activities and exercises to provide you with the same relief they offer me. From one anxious buddy to another, I hope this book brings you the calm you crave. xoxo Danna Smith
